The purpose of the two and a half day workshop was to:
1.Review specific results of each of the seven case studies with particular attention to the rigor and credibility in documenting the influence claim and assessing impact.
2. Support case study teams by discussions aimed at enhancing the quality of the studies (subject to cost and methodology constraints) and improving presentation of results in final reports, including explicit recognition of the limitations of analysis if appropriate.
3. Agree on dates/timetable for submitting final full-length reports to SPIA.
4. Assess possibilities for and desirability of publishing the case studies in different outlets and formats.
5. Assess the overall progress made by this project in documenting impacts and developing/identifying appropriate methods for CGIAR PORIA case studies.
